Beacon Seminars combine presentation, demonstration, video and general discussion to provide in-depth coverage of the feature topic. Attendees each receive a binder containing prints of presentation slides and other instructional materials.

Beacon's training seminars have proven to be both informative and practical with an always pleasant, informed and willing staff. We look forward to continuing the wonderful business relationship we began five years ago.

Past seminar speakers have included noted members of the Sports Turf Managers Association and groundskeepers from Major League Baseball and the National Football League. STMA members who have led seminars include Paul Zwaska and Steve Wightman. Paul Zwaska (left above), former head groundskeeper for the Baltimore Orioles, has over 27 years of groundskeeping experience. He earned a B.S. degree in Soil Science with a specialty in Turf & Grounds Management from the University of Wisconsin. Steve Wightman (right) has been involved in sports field management for over 30 years. He managed the field at Denver's Mile High Stadium for 13 years and has spent the last 15 years tending to the field at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium.
